Sylvania DV220SL8 Dual Deck DVD Player/VCR Combo Review
The machine works fine and has good picture and sound quality. My only beef with it is that it doesn't have a coaxial cable intake port. I must hook it up via the AV game ports, which means I have to go to my TV and change the function from TV to AV every time I want to use the player. My last player had the coaxial plug in and it was wired through my cable box, which meant I could use it with a couple pushes of my remote. It was much easier to use than this machine. I didn't see this in the specs before I purchased it. If I had I probably would have found a different product.

Sylvania Dual Deck - a great buy! - J. Harter - Phoenix, AZ USA
Our VHS deck finally bit the dust and I did quite a lot of research for a replacement. I selected the Sylvania based on consumer and technical reviews and cost. I was not disappointed. I find this to be a great machine for the price-have not found any downfalls yet.

since I need closed captions, I cannot com,ment on the sooud.br /My visoon isnt the best either,so canot comment of the clarity off pic.br /The do seem OK to me/br /I do not record any TV shows,as few if,any worth the time.br /br /I hve yet to try to put in opne of my VHS tapes.
